Wal-Mart Fight Goes On
In my hometown of Salina - we are in the homestretch of a three year site fight. Wal-Mart finished a complete environmental impact statement (of course, they drop it December 1 - right in the middle of holiday season - bastards) - anyway, we showed the Wal-Mart Movie Monday night at St. Joseph the Worker Church - my church - doesn't that fit??
Anyway, because of the response to the movie - we're showing it again at the Liverpool Public Library on WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 28 at 7 PM at the Liverpool Public Library, 301 Tulip Street. This is the night before the vote.
We'll also be putting out an activist email campaign for the Town of Salina against Wal-Mart. Soooo - we need your help! Any other suggestions of what to do can be listed here in our blog.
